A Digital Spark to a Lifetime of Love: Rochelle & Juhan’s Love Story
Juhan and Rochelle both studied at the North West University in Potchefstroom. Somehow, they didn’t meet each other during their 4 years at the University. Coincidentally, both Juhan and Rochelle moved to Pretoria after their studies to start working. Without their knowledge, they had many mutual friends and followed each other on social media, specifically Instagram. Rochelle decided to take the first leap of faith and sent Juhan a message on Instagram after he had posted a romantic quote which caught her attention. Juhan then took the opportunity to “explore” Rochelle’s Instagram page and saw that she had also moved to Pretoria for work and he decided to ask her out. They then went for lunch at a French restaurant called Lepis Dore Bakery and Bistro situated in Hazelwood, Pretoria and talked for hours on end. They instantly fell deeply in love and started seeing each other very regularly.
On 06 November 2022 Juhan and Rochelle went for a romantic picnic date at the Pretoria Botanical Gardens where Juhan asked Rochelle to be his girlfriend. Within a year, on 08 October 2023, Juhan took Rochelle on another romantic picnic date at Rosemary Hill in Pretoria where he asked Rochelle if she would marry him, to which she gladly said yes! Within another year, on 21 September 2024, Juhan and Rochelle got married at a beautiful wedding venue called Smitsfield Wedding Venue situated in Ermelo, South Africa. To this day, Juhan and Rochelle are madly in love!
